The holiday season is rapidly approaching, with Black Friday right around the corner. The economy is in the worst shape it’s been since the Great Depression and families are having difficulty affording the bare essentials, let alone seasonal decorations and holiday gifts. There is no telling when things will turn around, and it is very important to make every dollar stretch as far as possible, but you will not find me shopping at Walmart this holiday season.
Why Walmart is Bad for America
While Walmart may provide relatively low prices compared to other retailers in your area, there are greater costs of doing business with the company than what you pay at the register. Saving a few dollars now, might cost you far more in the future. During this series, I hope to shed some light on many of the issues surrounding Walmart, and show why you should spend your money elsewhere.
A new article will be added to this series each day beginning tomorrow, and ending on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. To make the series easier to follow, I will add a link to each article below as they are published. Please share your opinions, experiences, and questions by commenting on the articles. I would love to hear what you think of the series!
