It is my goal to seek out, try out, and shout out about these tools and their usefulness. I will be updating this list often, and suggestions for new tools to add/review are always welcome. Features include: Handles multiple Twitter accounts in one window, integrates with Facebook, user lists, saved searches, take/upload pictures to one of 5 different services including TwitPic, multi-column view, URL shortening, text shrinking.

Features include: Handles multiple Twitter accounts in one window, integrates with Facebook, groups (user lists), saved searches, upload pictures to TwitPic, multi-column view, URL Shortening, integrated with TwitScoop, record and view video through integration with 12seconds, view photo thumbnails within TweetDeck.

Features include: Handles multiple Twitter, laconi.ca, Friendfeed and Seesmic accounts in separate windows, URL shortening, Ping.fm integration, upload pictures to TwitPic, saved searches.
Twitter Contact Discovery

Suggests new people to follow with Twitter simply by entering a username and clicking a button. The ability to filter out Twitter “celebrities” is available. Simple interface and no registration or authentication requirements. First time use takes a bit of time, be patient.
Followformation : http://www.followformation.com/ (free)
Twitter users can select a category, number of users to follow (10 — 50), enter their Twitter username and password (OAuth is not currently integrated with this service), and Followformation will automatically follow the top 10 — 50 users for them. 10% of the “top users” for any given category are paid placements.
Twubble : http://www.crazybob.org/twubble/ (free)
Searches through the profiles of those you follow suggesting Twitter users based on who they follow. This service requires you to enter your Twitter username and password, OAuth is not currently implemented.
Twitter Directories

GeoFollow : http://geofollow.com/ (free)
Location based searchable directory of Twitter users. Search with keywords, locations, or usernames. The link to submit a listing is located on the FAQ page. Submitting your username for listing requires OAuth approval, and will post a Tweet to your timeline without warning.
TweetFind : http://www.tweetfind.com/ (free & paid)
Directory of Twitter users which can be searched by keyword or username, or browsed by category. TweetFind claims to be “The Only Live Twitter Directory” but submitting a listing takes up to 24 hours.
Twellow : http://www.twellow.com/ (free)
Searchable directory of Twitter users. Browse by category, search by keyword/username, or use Twellowhood to see listings of Twitter users by city. Twellow scrapes usernames from public Twitter feeds and parses their profile pages for listing data. Twitter users can register for a Twellow account to update and extend their listings.
TwitDir : http://twitdir.com/ (free)
While TwitDir advertises itself as a directory, it is more of a Twitter user search engine. There are no categories or method of submitting a listing to TwitDir. Usernames are scraped from public Twitter feeds and the associated profiles are parsed for listing data.
WeFollow : http://wefollow.com/ (free)
Searchable directory of Twitter users, which can be browsed by category. Twitter users can submit their username to be listed by logging into Twitter from WeFollow using OAuth, choosing 3 keywords, and submitting a Tweet via the WeFollow submission page.
Twitter Following/Follower Management

By logging into My Tweeple using Twitter’s OAuth authentication service, Twitter users are able to view data for all of their Twitter contacts such as date and time of last Tweet, number of Tweets, number of followers and people followed. Users can also “ding” their contacts to indicate that they may be spammers, scammers, or just plain bad eggs. Users can view their Twitter contacts in one of three ways. People they follow, people who follow them, or everyone listed together. In the everyone view, an icon which says “It’s Mutual” will be displayed by contacts who the user follows and is followed by.

Twitter users can access data for all of their contacts (followers/following) such as number of followers, number of people they follow, number of Tweets, and the date and time of their last Tweet. After logging in with OAuth, the user can choose to manage their followers or they can manage those they follow. Up to 100 contacts can be displayed per page, sorted by screen name, real name, number of followers, number of contacts followed, number of Tweets, and date of last Tweet.
TwitBlock : http://twitblock.org/ (free)
Twitter users can log into TwitBlock using their Twitter accounts (via OAuth) and scan their followers for signs of “spamminess.” TwitBlock assigns a score to each follower based on certain criteria, displaying followers with a score of 20 or higher. The user can either “analyze” followers to see a breakdown of their score, or block them.

Provides statistical data related to a user’s Tweets per hour, Tweets per month, Tweet timeline , replies. Tracks Twitter trends and statistics as well. No login is required to use this service.
Twitter Analyzer : http://twitteranalyzer.com/ (free & paid)
Provides a wide range of statistic data about Twitter users, activity, popularity, reach, and much… much… much more. The service is free with the option of becoming a “featured user.” No login is required to use this service.
TwitterCounter : http://twittercounter.com/ (free & paid)
Provides basic statistical data about Twitter users and their usage including follower, following, and Tweet volume projections. Suggested Twitter users to follow based on the displayed user are also provided.
Miscellaneous Twitter-Related Services

Twitter users can enter a Twitter username to see the average number of Tweets that user posts per day, as well as measure the Tweet average with a scale based on Robert Scoble’s Twitter usage.
SecretTweet : http://secrettweet.com/ (free)
Allows Twitter users to post anonymous Tweets to SecretTweet’s timeline. SecretTweet has over 30,000 followers who will see the anonymous Tweets, and others can reply either publicly or anonymously.

Thank you, Surrender! It’s been fun trying many of them out. I will be writing reviews for some of them in the near future.
