BloggingTips: The Festive Toolbox

One thing I love about the holiday season, is the decorations. Maybe it’s just the geek in me, or maybe it’s my inner child, but I just love shiny things and blinking lights. Now that I have had my fill of Thanksgiving Turkey, it is time to prepare for Yule! Lights, wreaths, ribbons, garland, and lawn ornaments remind me of the anticipation of Santa’s arrival when I was just a wee lad. Now that I have a child of my own, I get to relive all of the fascination and wonder which we seem to lose as we grow older. One of the many perks of holding the title Daddy.
Being that I spend a good deal of time on the Internet, it occurred to me that I should bring my sense of holiday spirit to my blog as well. And as if the universe read my mind, a great post over at BloggingTips.com popped into my feed reader!
“The Festive Toolbox: decorate your blog for Christmas!” is an excellent resource provided by Amanda Fazani from Blogger Buster, full of samples and links of graphical holiday decorations for your site, including WordPress themes, social networking icons, backgrounds, and other fabulous prizes!
If you are looking for some holiday cheer for your site, definitely take a look. Happy Holidays!

While sitting at my desk working on some upcoming changes to The Burning Blog, Twhirl threw a notification window at me with a tweet from Todd Friesen (aka oilman). I got such a kick out of the link he provided in his tweet, I thought I would share it:
