Comment Policy

While I do believe in Freedom of Speech, I am not so much a fan of abuse or harassment.  With Freedom comes Responsibility, after all.  This policy was written to promote the flow of ideas and opinions without the unpleasant aftertaste of excessive negativity or uncivil behavior.

The Burnman Experience Comment Policy

  • Keep the commentary clean.  Vulgar or explicit language is not permitted out of respect for my readers who may be offended by it.  There isn’t anything worth saying that can’t be said without offensive language.
  • Personal attacks will not be tolerated.  If you disagree with an article or comment posted on this site, feel free to express your opinion.  Just be sure to do it without insult.
  • Comment spam is not permitted.  If the sole purpose of posting a comment here is to promote a product or service without consent, the comment will be removed.
  • Comments posted by individuals who have never commented here before are moderated.  Once you have a comment approved, future comments will be automatically posted.  If the body of a comment contains a link, it will require review before it is visible to others.

Comments which are not in compliance with this policy will be modified or deleted.
